Sinterklaas Golf Gift: A Poster of Their Own Golf Course

A gift that already knows where they play

Every year the same question comes up a few weeks before 5 December: what do you give a golfer who already has enough gloves, balls and gadgets? The answer may be printed on the scorecard in their bag. A poster of the course they play most often is personal in a way no accessory can match, and it asks very little of you. You only need to know the name of their club.

Course Prints makes posters of real golf courses: a map of the course with every hole drawn in. You pick the course, you pick a size, and the gift is decided. There are no sketches to approve, no rounds of feedback and no guessing about taste beyond the frame.

Why it works as a Sinterklaas surprise

Sinterklaas is about the moment of unwrapping, and about the poem that comes with it. A course map gives you both. Hide the poster inside a surprise shaped like a golf bag, a flag or a green, and the poem almost writes itself. Rhyme about the hole that always goes wrong, the bunker they know far too well, or the green where that long putt finally dropped.

It is personal without being custom work. Nobody has to design anything from scratch, because the course already exists and so does the poster. What makes it theirs is your choice: their club, their holes, their Saturday mornings on paper.

A few courses to start with

If the golfer you are buying for plays near Zandvoort, the Kennemer Golf & Country Club poster shows their course hole by hole. For someone who plays near Wassenaar, there is the Koninklijke Haagsche Golf & Country Club print, and the Noordwijkse Golfclub poster brings Noordwijk to the wall. Golfers who play near Hilversum will recognise every hole on the Hilversumsche Golf Club map.

Is their course not in the collection? In the designer you can have a poster made of another course, so the gift still matches the club where they actually play.

Sizes, frame and price

A poster starts at €29.99 and comes in four sizes, unframed or in a black frame:

• A4 (21 x 29.7 cm)
• 30 x 40 cm
• 40 x 50 cm
• 50 x 70 cm

The smaller sizes suit a study or the wall next to the golf bag in the hallway. The larger formats become a real eye-catcher in a living room. Shipping is free from €60. That helps if you have more than one golfer on your list, or if you want to pair the home course with the course from a memorable golf trip.

Order with the date in view

Sinterklaas falls on a fixed evening, so timing matters. Each product page shows the expected delivery date before you pay. Around the holidays, that page mentions Sinterklaas or Christmas as long as that date is still achievable. That way you know where you stand before you place the order.

Writing the poem

A few lines are enough. Mention the course by name, tease them about a hole they love or dread, and end with a hint about what is inside the wrapping. Because every hole is on the map, the poem and the gift point at the same thing. That is what makes the evening fun.

Not sure which course to choose, or shopping for several golfers at once? The gift page brings the most popular courses together in one place, so you can browse them well before 5 December.
